Fertiliser

For All your Field Needs

Fertilisers can be derived from organic sources, known as organic fertilisers. In-organic fertilisers are those that are processed and produced in a factory or mined. Typically, in-organic fertilisers are considered stronger as they directly feed plans and are more fast acting. Both organic and in-organic fertilisers provide crops with the necessary nutrients to promote growth, although organic fertilisers tend to be more beneficial to the environment, as the fertiliser itself comes from nature. Choosing the correct fertiliser will vary depending on requirements. If your crops are needed to grow fast, in-organic fertilisers will be the best choice, whereas if you are looking for a more long-term solution, you may consider organic fertilisers instead.

Fertilisers for Crops

Fertilisers are artificial or natural substances that are made up of chemical elements to produce efficient growth of crops in farms. They work to replace elements in the soil that may have previously been compromised by previous crops, as well as intensify the natural growth and fertility of soil. The most important nutrients that fertilisers replenish plants with are carbon, hydrogen and oxygen. Majority of fertilisers used in agricultural settings contain plant nutrients phosphorus, potassium, and nitrogen. These are known as modern chemical fertilisers and provide crops the nutrients required to grow. Without these, the productive capacity of soil tends to decline with every harvest. Fertilisers can be divided into three groups including mineral, organic and industrial fertilisers.

For All your Field Needs

We offer a range of fertilisers from urea, map, and DAP to sulphate of potash, we can help meet your specific plant requirements for your farm.

Gypsum & Lime:

Gypsum provides soluble forms of sulphur and calcium to your soil. It improves soil quality and reduces surface crusting and increases water infiltration. Lime adjusts the pH, increasing biological activity favourable to plant growth in the soil. It is a great source of magnesium and calcium improving plant growth. When these nutrients are applied together, a strong synergistic effect has been noticed, improving grain yield.

MAP and DAP:

Mono-Ammonium Phosphate is a high source of phosphorus for the soil. The nitrogen content in MAP prevents leeching. This fertiliser is widely used in cropping systems and to sow pastures. Di-Ammonium Phosphate is a rich source of Phosphorus and a cost-effective option that provides slow releasing nitrogen as well. DAP is used for many crops in broad-acre farming, sugarcane, dairy pastures, fodder crops, etc.

Urea:

Urea is used as a nitrogen fertiliser. It is used widely due to its agronomic acceptability. It can be used in all crop segments to enhance microbial activity.

Single super:

The first commercial mineral fertiliser, single superphosphate is a source of phosphate, sulphate sulphur and calcium. The ratio of phosphorus and sulphur suits many crops and pastures and helps to maintain soil structure. Single super is the best-balanced P, S and Ca fertiliser for Australian pastures.

Granulock Z:

This is a compound fertiliser and is applied to the newly sown crops, working as a nourishing starter. The uniform balance of nutrients in each granule as the fertiliser helps for strong early root growth and healthy crop growth.

Sulphate of potash:

An excellent potassium and low chloride fertiliser that enables a higher immunity in plants to resist diseases and pests by strengthening stems and building thick cell walls. It makes the crops stay fresh for longer and have better features and taste.

Muriate of Potash:

Our Muriate of Potash (MOP) is a potassium chloride that helps to stimulate the growth of strong stems and provides disease resistance. This fertiliser improves the colour, flavour and storage of quality fruit and vegetables and is one of the most concentrated forms of granular potassium that is cost-effective.

SOA/Gran Am:

Sulphate of Ammonia is used as a source of nitrogen and sulphur. The fertiliser creates conditions that are conducive to microbial activity and empower plant growth. It maintains chemical stability in the plant and the soil, making the environment more hospitable to growth.

Pasture Blends:

Our pasture blends help to advance farm productivity by increasing root structure, improving soil moisture retention, and optimising the moisture-nutrient that is exchanged between the root and plant structure. Our pasture blends have lower salt levels in the soil and regulate the pH more efficiently.

Lawn Blends:

Complete lawn blends are formulated with a combination of minerals, microorganisms, nitrogen, phosphate, potassium, and other elements to help enhance the growth of your lawn. Our high-quality lawn blends achieve low maintenance, green lawns that can improve stronger root structure.

Cow Manure

Our cow manure includes a wide variety of nutrients such as nitrogen, phosphorus, and potassium, along with micronutrients like manganese and zinc. When applied to your land, our cow manure advances the soil quality, helps to regenerate the soil, and grows plants without the need for chemical products.

Chook Manure:

Our chook manure is used as an organic fertiliser, particularly for nitrogen-deficient soils. It contains the greatest levels of nitrogen, phosphate, and potassium of all animal manures. When applied to the soil you can improve soil structure, drainage capability and aeration.

Compost Blends

Our compost blends are a mixture of decaying, nutrient-rich, medium-density soil that is produced organically. Your farm can benefit from our compost blends in many ways such as preventing soil erosion, conserving water, improving soil growth and health as well as reducing waste.
